| Description | These are single frames from the wasp gall brackets with roughly eqiuvalent focus. Depth of field is wider in the bellows shot because the Mitakon was deliberately being used wide open. Both opened in Affinity and developed with no tweaks. As you can see the Mitakon looks dull and flat to the eye. Looking closer there is detail, but it has low contrast edges and is harder to differentiate. The bellows shot has more colour, better basic contrast and the micro contrast is slightly better. When stacked and processed there is definitely less detail in the Mitakon stack. |
