Centre of the frame is filled by 2 mushroom shaped fungi. They are on a fallen tree trunk which slopes from top left to bottom right of the image. One fungus is above and to the left of the other, the cap pushing out over the lower. The caps are peach pink with a mesh of thick white fibres over the surface creating a crazed appearance. The strands are up to a couple of millimetres thick and raised. The stem is white with bright scarlet droplets on the surface. The white gills are just visible, more so on the upper fungus. The red drops on the upper fungus are large like tears, those on the lower are tiny. The background is dark and out of focus. The tree trunk is in shadow mostly, but the bark is a paler mid gray with extnesive cracking showing a dark grey brown underneath.
