| Description | One of the second year survivors of the pollinators programme. A couple of years back the council ploughed the verges, then seeded them with wild flower mix to encourage pollinators. Year one was a classic English meadow, year two has been mostly hogweed, with cornflowers and poppies being out competed. The cornflowers have done better than the poppies though. This is 15 tiles of focus stacks merged into a pano and then tweaked. Helicon struggled with the focus stacks creating a lot of blurry blue artefacts on the outer petals, so this was done in Affinity the whole way. This used the Raynox 250 with the 60mm, and was manually focus adjusted for stacking because in focus stacking I could not get the flash power low enough, even at f14 and 1/128 power it was drowning the image out. |
