| Description | A wet afternoon, so I took the 50mm CZ out to play with, along with an extension tube. Some fun, it has more depth of field than the 60mm at the same aperture, but you can make that a lot less with f1.4 available. Biggest problem I had was not having a tripod with me. Some possible problems with rendering, but the colour is very nice. Sharpness seems lower though looking at landscape shots, which is not a total surprise, this is a very old design lens intended for film use adapted onto m43. This is one of the first shots, taken at f1.4, and I rather like the fall off. Not that the 60mm doesn't fall off well, but this is better, and a shallower DoF. |
