Willow Emerald Damselfly

Willow Emerald Damselfly

DescriptionSeen on the washing line sunning itself, I managed to get lots of images of this very tolerant demoiselle.  He, I think, was hanging with wings open like this from the washing line, then moved to the azalea in the shade after a while.  Not a species I've logged before, so very pleased this was pointed out to me.  This is a handheld focus stack, but has such great colours compared to the single low key frame version I can excuse the stacking problems.
