DescriptionI had been putting mealworms out in a wire ground feeder since finding they were bad for hedgehogs, but they'd climbed onto the decking and found them.  So I raised them higher.  So the two boars cooperated to clamber up and knock the feeder over.  Which left a pile of seed and worms across the decking.  They scoffed the lot.  When I heard the crash I came running out, grabbing the camera as I did.  The flash was on from earlier in the day, so I decided to use it.  The pair just sat there, even when poked gently to try to get them to move so I could sweep up.  Nope, not moving.  Earlier in the summer the smaller boar had been startled into retreat by the flash.  Not the first time it fired but the third or fourth shot, so I did wonder if shooting them close up might persuade them to move.  Nope.  But I did get a look...  This is the larger boar with the white patches, and he's not happy, possibly due to indigestion.
