Double Rainbow

Double Rainbow

DescriptionIt was definitely worth getting rained on for this.  I was trudging towards the road to come home when I turned and saw the start of the rainbow forming.  I turned round to get to a point where I could get a reasonable foreground, and over the next few minutes basically kept shooting the rainbow as it developed, with the rain and clouds moving away and to the right of shot.  This is the only frame with a double bow, and it is the only frame with the complete rainbow from end to end, the moving edge of the rain gradually lifting so the left hand end became stronger, but the right vanished.  I've done some processing for the second bow, lifting the sky, but if I do too much it all goes horribly wrong with the clouds.  The sky was genuinely that way though, pitch black under the rain, lightening across the frame.  The only thing that makes this possibly not perfect, I won't say. but I could not have improved on this and still got the effect I think.
