| Description | This is a macro of the heart of the giant sunflower, just as it was starting to open. These thorns will become the florets in the heart of the flower as they peel back to reveal stamens. Getting this took extreme extension of the tripod, and even then the flower head needed securing using a bracket to pull it closer. |
