| Description | The flower spike. This is the HD version. There is micro movement in the stamens making the micro detail less than perfect, but it captures the whole stem. I did have a panorama of focus stacks that is sharper in the micro detail but it crops the spike and when I went back to add another section possibly the bottom bloom was already wilted. So I have two imperfect images, but this is the better composition, and unless you pixel peep, the sharpness is more than enough. Again, struggles with the colour, the red just overwhelms everything against the black background. |
