| Description | Messing around in the studio with a candle and the chinese lantern seed pods from earlier in the year. The seed pods were a bit too opaque to backlight, and too flimsy to shoot suspended over the flame, charring even 4 inches above the top of the flame and any higher they were still shaking in the updraft. Eventually I got the fan out and shot the flame as it flickered in the cross wind. Rather a nice series of images from the pixel shift HD mode. |
