Description | A long walk over the fields to Bayhurst Woods. The buntings, stonechats and wrens were out in force, and in the woods there was a very distracted pair of goldcrests which allowed me within about four feet. Sadly very low light meant AF was useless and MF didn't nail the birds, so here is a Reed Bunting instead. A few people out, the bikers appeared as I reached the woods, but were not a problem coming back, or at least the one set I met were not, the other two groups up on the back field, and some very young riders who appeared over by the back entrance to the woods I didn't come into contact with. |
