Description | Another grim day, drizzly and overcast. I took a wide angle for a walk, but was mostly walking and looking for dead wood to shoot macro later. I did find a coral type fungus, which I shot, but will go back and reshoot with the macro rig, but sadly little inspiration from the landscape. Up on the top field by the ridge line though there was a kite soaring, and when the pigeons were put up, I grabbed this quickly. The placing of the birds struck a cord about behaviour, with one who won't wait, and one who can't keep up. This being about as big a contrast from yesterday's offering as I can imagine, from 200 MP to 20, intense color to mono, without conversion, from lots to look at around the frame to bare minmalism. I hate to be pigeon holed. |
