DescriptionOn the top field.  I went for a ride, but it was cold, windy, periodically wet and lots of flooded roads.  One of the eternal mysteries to me is how when building roads on top of hills the roads are so poorly constructed as to flood.  If it were one road I could maybe understand, but so many roads round here flood it seems a systematic failure to build them with any camber or drainage.  So I cut the intended route way short and popped into the top field, via an unlocked gate, to grab some shots of the rain clouds whooshing across.  Not as dramatic as I would like, but still this is early afternoon, with a low sun and lots of warmth.
