DescriptionA local bridlepath I have not ventured before. It goes down through a ford with about 6 inches of water at present, then under the M25 to the Amersham road. According to OS the layby it emerges in joins in a place where you can head towards Amersham without crossing the dual carriageway, but that does not seem correct. One of a number of discrepancies I have found recently, even though the app has all the latest HS2 restrictions in. The ford might make a good place to shoot a modern tribute to the Millais Ophelia if I can find a model willing, not likely though. Given the ford is difficult to ride with a soft mud bottom that nearly had me fall off as I lost traction, and the dangerous road it emerges on I will not be using it again otherwise.
