DescriptionYou know how luck sometimes works... I took the camera up to the fields with the 300mm on as the previous day there had been swallows over the fields. The swallows however made a swift, pun intended, departure when I arrived with the long lens. I walked up to the top field, and shot a panorama of the dead tree in the middle of the field, with a kestrel on the branch. I started walking closer expecting the kestrel to take off, and it did. It flew towards me and started hunting. Cue card filling frenzy.
