DescriptionThe world turned upside down. In this case by a home made camera obscura. This is what happens when you watch videos on photography. I spent a morning taping up the bedroom window, cutting holes, fitting lenses, only to find that the focussing distance was too small, then switching to a pinhole, only to find it was not in any way sharp, and finally, using a magnifier lens from a weird gadget I have had for over 20 years, that I dropped and broke while trying to work out how to mount it. Which freed the lens, but broke a Christmas present from someone I once loved. Aperture about 3mm diameter hole in a piece of cardboard that provided a mount for the product on a shop rail, not precise f stop, but a smooth hole. Anyway this is an image onto a greaseproof paper focussing screen, using HD mode, and then shot with the 25mm 1.2, from the ridiculous to the sublime perhaps. The final image then converted to mono and then the conversion abandoned. The idea was to look retro, but actually I think that doesn't exclude the colour, and I like the overblown colour rendition more.
