Description | I think this is Blackthorn, or Sloe. However I have never seen fruits on this bush, so it could be Hawthorn, or one of the other similar bushes. This is a focus stack of 5 images taken at high res using a focussing rail to offset the focus, instead of the built in focus bracketing. It was proving impossible to get a good shot with enough sharpness and depth for the heart and stamens of the flower while pushing the background out of focus. Hence post processing... |
