| Description | I have a small infestation of Californian Maple Aphids on my Japanese Maple. There are about 3 or 4 flower sprays which have around 7-8 of these aphids each. So not a huge infestation. This was a struggle to get though with the wind pulling the clamp around, so I was having to wait for calmer moments, recompose, focus, stop down and grab a few frames. For lighting it was sunny, plus the Metz ringflash, plus the Nissin i40 on an arm. Even with all those I was struggling to get below 1000 ISO when stopped down. Macro ratio around 2:1, I did get all the way in to 5:1 but the tighter framing is not that much more detailed as the required ISO was much higher. |
