| Description | Still got it. Manual focussed, handheld. I still cannot find a way to get the AF working reliably for a fast moving subject like this. But manual focus, admittedly with the peaking on, works more often. This is from Stockers. I sort of decided to ignore the things getting me down for a little while and get out and do more. There were a few people around, but more the winter midweek levels, the hides are open, and there were some birds about. Best shot I missed was a grebe coming up with a tiny fish and then being mugged by the youngster it was teaching to hunt. It saw mum come up with something and charged across the lake squeaking eagerly. Quite affecting even days after, not sure why. Still all happened while I had a cup in hand, not a camera. |
